How the arcade is built
The extension, the relay, the rooms, the rules, the tags and the money, plainly
The extension
A Manifest V3 extension for Chrome, Brave, Edge and Arc. It asks for one permission, storage (your settings), and runs only on https://pump.fun pages
- A content script draws the room inside one closed shadow root fixed over the page: cursors, name tags, reactions, bubbles, the dock and the panel. pump.fun's own styles never touch it and it never changes pump.fun's page
- A tiny script in the page's own world answers two questions for the content script: which Solana wallets are installed, and please sign this one line. It never asks for a transaction
- The toolbar popup holds the same settings as the in-page panel. On first install a tab opens this site's guide; nothing else runs in the background
- The relay's address is read from this site at
/api/hello, so the relay can move without a new version of the extension
Rooms and the relay
One room per coin mint. A room is a WebSocket on the relay, a small Node server. Joining sends a hello with your name tag, colour and settings; the room answers with everyone already there and where they point. Reactions and chat go out at once. Cursor moves are gathered and sent out as one frame per room eight times a second, at most 32 cursors a frame (tagged players and the latest movers first), and your screen eases each cursor toward its new spot
| What | Limit |
|---|---|
| Pointer updates | about nine a second from you, only when it moved |
| Reactions | two a second, eight in a burst |
| Chat | 80 characters, one line every three seconds, three in a row, six a minute |
| Name and colour changes | three a minute |
| Tabs per network address | three in one room, six in all |
| Shared cursors per room | 300; anyone beyond that watches dark |
Cursors that line up on any screen
Screens differ, so pixel positions mean nothing to another player. The extension sends where you point in terms of the page itself: the element under your pointer (its place in the page tree and its tag), the spot inside it in thousandths, and the same for the column of the page that holds it. Everyone renders the same coin page tree at any size, so the receiving screen finds that same button, chart or table row and puts your cursor on the same spot in it. If that element is folded away on a narrow layout, the column is used; if the column is missing too, the window
House rules
- Links in any form (schemes, www, bare domains, invites, shorteners) never reach anyone
- Contract addresses never reach anyone: long Solana style runs, split or dotted, and EVM addresses
- Slurs are refused, including spaced out and number swapped spellings
- Control, zero width and direction characters are stripped, repeated character spam is refused
- Name tags are 2 to 12 letters, digits, spaces, dots or dashes, and cannot pose as DEV, ADMIN, MOD or pump.fun
- Every name tag opens MUTE (this visit), BLOCK (kept, you never see them again) and REPORT. Three reports from three different network addresses hush a player in that room: they keep talking, nobody hears
- A player who floods the relay with garbage is disconnected

CLAIM TAGS asks your wallet to sign this line, and nothing else:
Pump Multiplayer
Sign to show your holder tags in the rooms. This is not a transaction and costs nothing.
Wallet: <your address>
Issued: <time>
The relay checks the signature (ed25519) and reads balances from Solana: the crown and the gold cursor at 10 000 $PUMPMULT or more, HOLDER for any amount of the coin in view, DEV when the coin's pump.fun bonding curve names your wallet as its creator. A signed line is good for seven days. Balances are read again at most every 90 seconds. Before $PUMPMULT exists, only HOLDER and DEV can be earned
Public numbers
The relay answers anyone with counts only:
| Path | What |
|---|---|
GET /v1/rooms | the busiest rooms with each coin's name, ticker and picture |
GET /v1/room/<mint> | one room's watchers, peak, reactions and chat counts |
GET /v1/stats | totals, peaks, reactions by kind, 24 h series, daily totals |
WS /v1/lobby | the busiest rooms and reaction bursts every few seconds (what the lobby on the home page draws) |
Money, plainly
$PUMPMULT is a plain pump.fun coin created from the developer's wallet. 100% of its creator fees go to that wallet. There is no program of ours, no pot, no staking and nothing to deposit. The extension and the rooms are free for everyone; holding $PUMPMULT changes only how your cursor looks. The developer pays for the relay server
