What Pump Multiplayer sees and keeps
The short version: other players in a coin's room see your cursor, your name tag and what you say there, while you are there. The relay passes it on and keeps none of it. No analytics, no ads, no cookies, nothing sold
Applies to the Pump Multiplayer browser extension, its relay server and this website. Last updated 19 October 2026
Where the extension runs
Only on pages of https://pump.fun. It joins a room when the address is a coin page (/coin/<mint>) and leaves it when you go elsewhere, close the tab, or leave a tab in the background for five minutes. On every other website it does nothing at all
What is sent to the relay while you are on a coin page
| What | Why | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| The coin's mint address (from the page address) | To put you in that coin's room | Counted publicly as one watcher of that coin |
| Your name tag and colour (yours to choose, a guest name by default) | So others can tell cursors apart | Players in the same room |
| Your pointer position, as the part of the page under it and the spot inside it | To draw your cursor at the same place on their screens | Players in the same room, live. Not sent when you go dark |
| Reactions and chat lines you send | To show them in the room | Players in the room at that moment |
| A random install id made by the extension | So a block you set keeps working when that player comes back | Nobody. It is turned into a key the relay keeps only in memory |
| Mute, block and report actions | To apply them | Nobody. A report is counted, never shown |
The extension does not read anything else on the page: not your pump.fun account, not your trades, not what you type into pump.fun's own fields. The only thing it takes from the page is its layout under your pointer, to line cursors up
Tags and your wallet
Only if you press CLAIM TAGS. Your wallet then asks you to sign one plain line of text that starts with Pump Multiplayer. It is not a transaction and costs nothing. The extension sends the relay your wallet address, that line and its signature. The relay checks the signature and asks a Solana node (Helius) how many $PUMPMULT tokens and how many of the current coin that address holds, and whether it created the coin. Other players see only the resulting tags (crown, holder, dev), never the address. The signed line is kept in your browser for up to seven days so you do not sign again in every room; FORGET WALLET deletes it
The Tags page on this website reads the balance of a wallet you connect by asking our server, which asks the Solana node. Nothing is signed there and nothing is stored
What the relay keeps
- Nothing that was said or done in a room: chat lines and reactions are passed on and forgotten at once
- While you are connected: your connection, your network address and the counters that enforce the rate limits, in memory only, gone when you leave. Network addresses are never written to disk or logs
- Public counts: how many watched, rooms opened, reactions by kind, chat lines, lines stopped by the rules, a 24 hour series in one minute steps and daily totals for 31 days. They carry no names, ids, wallets or text
What is kept in your browser
In the extension's own storage on your computer: your name tag, colour and switches (go dark, hide everyone), the random install id, the signed line if you claimed tags, keys of players you blocked, and the relay's address for ten minutes. Removing the extension removes all of it
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no third party scripts. Pictures of coins in the lobby and rooms come from the coin's own metadata host. Your browser keeps a few small notes in local storage (which first-visit hints you closed, which wallet you connected on the Tags page). The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs
Who runs what
- Relay: a small server rented from Vultr, run by the Pump Multiplayer developer
- Website: Vercel
- Solana balance reads: Helius
No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising. It is never used for anything but running the rooms and the public counts. Pump Multiplayer is independent and not made by or affiliated with pump.fun
Your choices
- Go dark: stay counted, show no cursor
- Hide everyone: see no one, still counted
- Forget wallet: drop the tags and the signed line
- Remove the extension: everything it kept is gone and it never connects again
Pump Multiplayer is for adults. Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new date. Questions: through the developer contact on the Chrome Web Store listing
